SINK OR SWIM
To help maintain a positive, safe, and supportive environment for all swimmers and their families, we ask that all visitors to our lessons follow the code of conduct outlined below:
For Swimmers:
1. Be Respectful
Treat instructors, fellow swimmers, and pool staff with kindness and respect at all times.
2. Listen and Follow Instructions
Always listen carefully to your instructor and follow their directions to stay safe and make the most of your lesson.
3. Try Your Best
Everyone learns at their own pace-just try your best, stay positive, and keep practicing.
4. Stay Safe
Walk on poolside, wait for your instructor before entering the water, and follow all pool safety rules.
5. Be Supportive
Encourage your classmates and celebrate each other’s progress.
For Parents & Guardians:
1. Support, Don’t Pressure
Encourage your child with positivity and patience. Progress takes time— avoid placing undue pressure on performance
2. Trust the Process
Our instructors are trained professionals. Allow them to guide the learning journey without interruption during lessons.
3. Arrive On Time
Arrive with enough time to prepare your child before their lesson begins. Late arrivals can disrupt the session.
4. Supervise Responsibly
Always supervise your child before and after lessons and ensure they’re ready to be handed over to the instructor. Outside of their designated lesson time, the primary responsibility for your child’s safety remains with you
5. Respect School / Pool Rules
Parents and guardians are expected to follow all school and pool rules, including observing on-site speed limits, no smoking or vaping, adhering to designated viewing areas, removing footwear where required, maintaining poolside hygiene, avoiding glass items in changing or pool areas and respecting photography restrictions.
6. Communicate With Us
If you have any concerns or questions, speak with us directly and respectfully-we’re here to help.
7. Promote Good Hygiene
Ensure your child uses the toilet before lessons, wears appropriate swimwear, and showers before entering the pool.
By working together, we can create a fun, safe, and rewarding environment where every child can learn to Love the Water!
